Real-Time Protection

One of my favorite features of TotalAV is its Real-Time Protection. This feature allows Total AV to monitor your device at all times and stop incoming malware threats. 

Many anti-viruses will decrease your computer's performance while they are running in the background. I noticed that while using Total AV's Real-Time Protection that my computer's performance stayed the same.

Malware Scanning

Apart from the Real-Time Protection that will detect malicious attacks as they come, you can also run targeted malware scans to detect any suspicious threats.

You can run a System Scan or a Quick Scan, both of which you can schedule to run at a specific time. These scans picked up most of the malicious files that I downloaded on the web while testing the software.

This means that these scans are highly effective, and like the Real-Time Protection, they did not negatively affect my computer's performance.

TotalAV offers an easy to use extension called Safe Site that protects you from any URL running phishing schemes.

Finding a reliable and affordable is a tough task for even the sharpest of techies.
